As 2023 drew to a close, we sneakerheads were treated to a pretty electrifying showcase of Nike Air Jordan 3 sneakers, a collection that included Fears, Lucky Greens, the J Balvin collab and many more. The revival of the legendary "White Cement" 3s stirred nostalgic sentiments among MJ fans, marking a successful return of a beloved favorite. This left many people buzzing with excitement about what Jordan Brand had in store for the AJ3 in 2024. Keeping this very momentum alive, artist Nina Chanel Abney lent her distinctive artistic vision producing something quite special.

There are very little details pictured of these, however Abney recently debuted first looks at her Air Jordan 3 sneakers on Instagram, which were showcased dressed in gorgeous green and tan shades. Some neon orange hues peaking out slightly on the heel tab can also be detected as it seems. A couple of months ago, the anticipation surrounding Nina Chanel Abney's collaboration with Nike started as she offered us a sneaky glimpse into her creative process. Abney teased  a preview of Jordan 3 heel pieces adorned with her unmistakable signature font style, featuring the iconic Nike Air and "23" logos reimagined in her bold and dynamic aesthetic. Amongst the teasing imagery, hints of vibrant green hinted at the leading color of the upcoming shoe.

Known for her playful approach, Abney has left people guessing with a cleverly captioned post. Accompanying a teaser image of the sneaker itself , she whimsically included the hashtag '#septemberspringsummer' alongside a rolling laughing emoji, adding to the intrigue and excitement surrounding the potential unveiling date. With Abney's teasing hint, fans remain on their toes, eagerly anticipating the moment when it will possibly be release ( we expect it to be extremely limited though )

Broaching subjects as diverse as race, celebrity, religion, politics, sex, and art history, Nina Abney’s works linear storytelling in with disjointed narratives. The effect is information overload and bold designs, balanced with a kind of spontaneous order. This distinctively bold style harnesses the flux and simultaneity that has come to define life in the 21st century and certainly fits in with designers such as JFG and Salehe Bembury.

We are super excited to see what Abney produces next and especially can't wait to get our hands on this AJ3
