Allegedly the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 low "Olive" will be the last iteration of one of the most hyped-up collaborations of the last decade.
The collaboration started in 2017 and blew up due to the rapper's mainstream blowout after the release of his third studio album "Astroworld".  Could we see "Utopia" release next month as another album to hype up the last of the Travis x Jordan 1 line or maybe will it be the start of something new that Travis and Nike have in store for fans and sneakerheads around the globe???

However, before we have a look at what's next for Laflame and Nike let's highlight some of the best of the Cactus Jack series that's already released.

Jordan 1 Retro High OG SP "Dark Mocha"

The sneaker everyone thinks about when you mention the names Jordan and Travis Scott together, it's just iconic. Not only was it the most coveted release of 2019 but it will go down as one of the most coveted and most anticipated releases of all time, the hype levels were and still are off the charts. This first iteration of the Travis Scott Jordan 1 is without a doubt the rapper's greatest collaboration to release to the public that isn't a friends and family pair.

This pair cemented the reversed swoosh that is now associated with every Cactus Jack Air Jordan 1 as forever recognisable.

This pair features a white leather upper with decadent Dark Mocha suede overlays highlighted by the black leather reversed Swooshes. The hits of red on the tongue slightly contrast the design's earth tones and bring the panels of the shoe together perfectly. On the heel, a debossed Cactus Jack logo adds a custom feel. From there, a yellowed midsole and matching Mocha outsole complete the design.

Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP Fragment X Travis Scott

Travis is already the master of creating hype. In 2021 Fragment and Hiroshi Fujiwara were added to the equation to create a triple collab, imagine the scenes. We don't have to imagine in fact, upon release the shoe raked up over 3.5 million entries on the Nike SNKRS app with 2 million of those entries happening in the just first 30 minutes. Travis, Nike and Fujiwara had the sneaker community in a chokehold with this one.

The Travis Scott x Fragment partnership has provided us with two Air Jordan 1s, a High and a Low as well as apparel. Both the high and the low take a similar approach: backward Swooshes, identical colour palettes, and subtle placement of Fragment lightning bolts on the upper. The Low seemed to be more of a fan favourite though.

The use of cream on the laces, Swoosh, and midsole give these a nice vintage-inspired touch.

Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP Travis Scott "Olive"

Reports allegedly say that Travis is closing out his run on the Air Jordan 1 with this "Olive" colourway. It will be sad to see this collaboration end but if it truly is his last, he did indeed go out with a bang. Following up the "black Phantom" colourway that was released previously last year December, this pair is constructed with white leather and black nubuck uppers.

Travis continued to use his signature reverse-style Nike Swoosh, in an olive green colourway.

The white overlays with these olive Swooshes and a matching green outsole bring a pop of colour alongside the red Cactus Jack branding elements.

What's next for Laflame?

Recently the Formula One Grand Prix hit the streets of Miami.

During the event, we saw some interesting heat on the feet of some celebs such as a sneak peek at the upcoming J Balvin x Air Jordan 3.

Travis also showed us some new heat as the Houston rapper performed wearing what seems to be his version of the Nike Mac Attack.

The shoe arrived in a familiar grey and black colour blocking featuring Travis Scott's signature reverse Swoosh hinting that this is indeed a Nike x Cactus Jack collab. The shoe appears to feature a mesh and leather upper, as well as a checkerboard tongue label.

So far, it is uncertain if it will feature "Cactus Jack" branding anywhere else on the shoe and whether it will be available to the public.
